Emergency First Aid in the Workplace/Sporting Environment
for the Appointed Person

Course Description:  A minimum six-hour programme (one day) for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid.

Course Aims: By the end of the course, individuals will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed when treating emergencies within the context of the specified environment.

The Award: The course tutor will carry out an on-going assessment and successful students will receive a certificate recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (valid for a period of three years).

The Appointed Person: The trained person will be classed as an Appointed Person within the specified trained area i.e. at a riding school if the course was specifically aimed at this environment.

Note: Appointed Persons are not First Aiders and should only give 1st Aid for which they have been trained.

1st Aid Spain is able to offer on or off-site training to organizations and companies who want to take control of their First Aid needs. The course can be delivered as one or two Day courses for up to 16 delegates throughout Europe.
 It enables an organisation to choose the most convenient dates and times. 1st Aid Spain is able to modify the content of the course according to your specific areas of risk in the working environment or to adapt to a social, hobby, sporting environment.
