Therapists & Trainers: All professional therapists and trainers should hold the minimum of a 1 day Emergency 1st Aid Certificate to remain insured and abide by their governing bodies code of ethics and membership rules. If a client (your greatest asset) falls ill after or during treatment / training, would you be able to take the appropriate 1st aid action until medical help arrives? Do you want to risk not being trained? For as little as €130 you can hold a certificate valid for 3 years.
Parents: Do you know how to deal with a choking child/baby or what action to take if they stop breathing?
Learning vital emergency 1st Aid skills ensures that you would feel confident in performing CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) on a child. A course run by 1st Aid Spain ensures you receive adequate practice so that you could take the appropriate emergency 1st Aid action until professional help arrives, giving your child the best chance of survival.
At 1st Aid Spain preventative training is also offered to help avoid some accidents.
Aupairs, Nannies, Child minders & Teachers (at home & work): Children are precious. Ensure that they are being cared for by people that can ensure their safety and are able to deal with any medical emergency effectively until professional help arrives. After a person has received training from 1st Aid Spain, most minor injuries can be treated effectively without seeking further medical assistance.
Couples & Families: Would you know how to spot the signs of a heart attack and tell the difference between that and a stroke or angina attack? Knowing emergency and basic first aid ensures you give someone you love the best chance of survival until medical help arrives.
Doctors & Dentists: How up to date are your skills? You already have an enormous amount of skill and knowledge. A casualty needs basic Emergency 1st Aid skills performed in a logical and set format to stand the best chance of survival. CPR has changed and so has the recovery position. Do you know what they are now? Do your staff? Would everyone in your surgery know how to treat a client (your most valuable asset) for Angina, Fainting, Stroke or Shock?
