1 Day Safety at the Pool and Beach Course

Course Description: A minimum six-hour programme (one day) for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid. Ideal for those on a short break or holiday. This includes paediatric CPR.
Course Aims: By the end of the course, individuals will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed to deal with potential emergencies involving children in and around pools, lakes, rivers and by the sea.
The Award: The course tutor will carry out an on-going assessment and successful students will receive a certificate recognised by the UK Health and Safety Executive valid for a period of three years.
Attendance: A maximum of 16 people can attend the course.

Course Aims: By the end of the course, individuals will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed when dealing with threatening emergencies involving children.
